ABOUT
Isidora Goncic is a Serbian theatre director, performance maker and artistic researcher based in Amsterdam. She is currently completing her Master's in Theatre at DAS Theatre (Amsterdam University of the Arts).
Working across performance, installation and artistic research, her practice explores the relationships between bodies, medicine, memory and spectatorship. Drawing from autobiographical material, she develops performances that investigate how private experiences can become shared acts of witnessing. Through endurance, repetition and material transformation, her work examines the tension between vulnerability and control, often inviting audiences into intimate encounters where meaning emerges through presence rather than explanation.
Alongside her independent artistic practice, Isidora has directed productions in institutional theatres in Serbia, including Atelje 212 and Pinokio Theatre. Her work moves fluidly between theatre and contemporary performance, combining dramaturgical precision with installation, live art and collaborative processes.
